What You Need To Know

What You Need to Know About Adoption:
Our puppy parents have been DNA tested to insure that we are not raising puppies that will develop juvenile hereditary cataracts.

All of our puppies come with a microchip, full registration and will be current on their shots and worming. We implant the microchips in our puppies when they are about 5 weeks old. If you have a puppy than is not registered, you can register for a one time registration fee of $17.50 for the life of the puppy.

We start the weaning process at around 4 weeks by blending puppy chow and milk. At around 6 weeks we separate the puppy’s from the mothers. By the time you get your puppy he/she will be eating solid puppy chow.

We feed all of our puppies Purina puppy chow. I have placed a picture of the bag below to help you find it at the store.

Purina Puppy Chow (Complete)

Please note: If you intend to change brands of puppy chow, we recommend that you mix Purina with your choice for a few days, until your puppy is adjusted.

To ensure our puppies are healthy enough to travel to their new homes, your new puppy will be examined by a licensed veterinarian before he/she travels to their new home.

Once you have purchased your new puppy, you will receive weekly photos so that you can see your puppy grow!
